Q.  What happens with deposits?  If you were unable to complete my guitar would I get my money back?
A. I hold all of my deposits.  If something would happen to me (including my death, injury or sickness) you will get your full deposit back.  I don't use anyones deposit to fund someone elses guitar.

Q.  Do you have shop tours?
A.  Not really............ maybe.........  I have a busy schedule, and also,  my shop is usually a mess..........but, if you're going to be  near Grover NC contact me.  We may be able to have a quick look at my shop, and pick a little.

Q. When is the best time to call.
A. It doesn't matter.  For safety reasons, and due to un needed distractions I don't have a phone in my shop.  My phone number (704) 937-2499 is voicemail only.  Leave your number as well as best time to call and I'll call you back.  You can also contact me via e-mail.  If you'd like to talk on the phone leave your number, and best time to call.

Q. Will you build a guitar using wood I provide?
A. It depends.  I'd have to inspect the wood, as well as store it in my shop for a while to season it.  If I use your wood it won't save you any money, and you'll be responsible if I break a side or somehow ruin a piece.  I've got alot of really nice tonewood.  It would be best for you to choose from my stock.

Q. I see you have a Varnish finishing DVD set.  I've also noticed you use Polyester finishes also.  Do you plan on making a Polyester finishing DVD set sometime.
A. No, any finish can be hazardous, but Polyester is a professional finish, requiring special safety equipment and precautions.  None of my methods, materials ect are secrets.     If you have a question feel free to ask.   I may make some other type of DVD someday, but there's alot of good ones for most areas of building already out.  I don't know of another Varnish finishing DVD.

Q. I've got a guitar built by someone else that needs work.  Do you work on instruments besides your own.
A. No, I only work on Brackett Instruments guitars and instruments.  In the past I've tried to help people out with incomplete instruments, or instruments they weren't happy with.  Usually these ended up being a headache for me, as well as for them.  The only dis satisfied clients I've ever had involved guitars built by someone else.

Q. I build guitars but don't do my own finishing.  Do you offer finishing services?
A. No, in the past I done finishes for a couple builders, as well as re finishing on some factory instruments.  My current workload doesn't allow this anymore.  I know some really good finishing specialists.  I'll be happy to refer you to them for your finishing needs.

Q. Did you know you're killing the rainforest by making guitars?
A. Did you know you're using oxygen that could be used by someone who actually has a brain?
